Join A Committee

The Havre de Grace Arts Collective is a collection of programs that all serve our mission. The Collective is governed by a Board of Directors, managed by a staff of two and guided by program committees. These committees are comprised of community members, professionals and local artists that oversee specific programs. The Collective is always open to adding new members to their various programs.

Our Committee Programs

Gallery 220

The purpose of the Gallery 220 Committee is to set the tone and intention of Gallery 220, and to plan and oversee the scheduling of exhibitions in the Havre de Grace Arts Collective Gallery 220 exhibition space. The Committee creates artistic programming to complement what already exists in the area by promoting intellectually provocative artistic discourse which, in turn, attracts more artists and visitors to Havre de Grace.

Performing Arts

The Performing Arts Committee supports the Arts Collective by establishing and maintaining communication regarding events, activities, and programming with local community organizations and media outlets. Committee members are to be experienced and knowledgeable in performing arts production, curation, and/or promotion. The Committee aims to be representative of the diverse communities it serves, and to provide mentorship opportunities when applicable.

Public Art

The purpose of the Public Art Committee (PAC) is to manage the Public Art for the City of Havre de Grace. The committee is directly responsible for the installation of several public art sculptures in the City. The PAC also provides technical and professional assistance on other Public Art projects.

Arts & Entertainment
District

The Arts & Entertainment District Committee manages and oversees the City's A&E District.

Arts by the Bay

Arts by the Bay is dedicated to the mutual success of supporting and promoting the arts in Havre de Grace and surrounding areas. We proudly represent a diverse variety of artists with an array of specialties, and are committed to cultural education through workshops, lectures, seminars and art demonstrations
